In April of 1984,
Hunter Morin and
Mort Miller founded The GeMROI Company,
a sales and marketing firm based in
Fredericksburg, Virginia. Additional field offices are located in
Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois,
Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New
York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming.
With a combined 34 years’ experience, Morin and Miller created an
organization, which provides marketing, merchandising, and sales for a
number of major millwork and building materials manufacturers in the
United States. The companies, which GeMROI now represents, have
total revenues in excess of $6 billion.
The GeMROI Company has developed a loyal customer network comprised of businesses in the building material, millwork, distribution, and roofing/siding industry, as well as manufactured housing. GeMROI specializes in providing all aspects of sales and marketing expertise:

GeMROI also has experience in the import and export business, having
founded two successful international trading companies.
Hunter Morin, president and co-founder of The GeMROI Company, began his
career with the General Products Company, Inc., of Fredericksburg,
Virginia, a leading manufacturer of steel doors. Advancing to vice
president and assistant to the president, he was instrumental in
generating an exceptional rate of return, taking the firm’s sales from $3 million to more than $50 million. Mort Miller, GeMROI’s vice
president and treasurer, spent 16 years with General Products in sales
and marketing and was vice president of sales and marketing.
